Hyundai's award-winning Sonata sedan has received some updates for the 2012 model year. No, the popular mid-size sedan did not receive any styling updates, however, the 2012 model boasts slightly upgraded engines and more equipment for the price.
2012 Hyundai Sonata updates:
- touch-screen navigation with HD Radio Technology now available
- panoramic sunroof now standard on 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited
- Blue Link telematics system standard on all Sonatas
- Rear backup camera available on Hyundai Sonata SE with Sunroof and Navigation Package
Engine line-up upgrades:
Hyundai engineers slightly updated the fuel-savy engine line-up so the four-cylinder engines for further improved fuel efficiency.

Theta II GDI 2.0-liter turbo fuel economy: 22 city / 34 highway
