High demand and increased sales enable Hyundai to regain top spot in Russian car market!
Each and every day we keep reading positive news regarding increased sales of Hyundai cars. The carmaker's new models, including Elantra, Accent and Sonata are hot sellers, not only in the States, but also in Europe, South America, China and Russia.
Speaking of Russia, this is the market where Hyundai achieved a significant sales success, recently. According to latest auto industry data, Hyundai Motor Company was the best-selling foreign carmaker in Russia during the month of September 2011.
Hyundai's total sales in Russia last month reached 15.317 units, enough to take the No. 1 spot among competitive carmakers. In September, Hyundai beat Chevrolet, which sold 15.255 cars, to take the number one spot in Russia. Following the two best-selling carmakers were Nissan, Renault, Ford and Kia.
Hyundai sales have skyrocketed shortly after Solaris made its debut. The all-new Hyundai Solaris is a four-door sedan, based on new Hyundai Accent, which features some technical upgrades suited for local conditions. The Russia-built Solaris compact car experienced a high demand over the past couple.
Last month, the Solaris was also the best selling foreign car in Russia, with sales hitting 9.479 units!
