The all-new 2013 Hyundai Sonata mid-size sedan hits the U.S. showrooms!
Hyundai's best-selling vehicle in the USA, the 2013 Sonata sedan, has been given some packaging and features upgrades for the 2013 model year.
Starting from this month, Sonata (2013) models now offer a standard 6-speed automatic gearbox, while 6-speed manual was axed and is no longer available. Equipped with 6-speed automatic transmission, the entry level Sonata achieves 24 mpg
in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
Pricing for the base Sonata model start at $21.670 for the Sonata GLS model, while the top of the range 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited with 2,0L turbo engine costs
$28.370. Prices published here include a $775 car shipping charge.
The entry level 2013 Hyundai Sonata is propelled by a 2.4L GDI four-cylinder engine mated to Hyundai's in-house developed six-speed automatic transmission.
Those looking for more power can choose from a 2,0L GDI turbo engine producing north of 270 horsepower, while people more oriented towards the clean environment can go for the Sonata hybrid which achieves better fuel economy.
The all-new Sonata is a carry-over mode, which means its exterior design and interior layout has not been changed form the 2012 model.
